Pennsylvania Rep John Murtha Dead at 77

Pennsylvania Congressman Rep. John Murtha has died, at the age of 77, according to his congressional office .

Murtha has been in intensive care at Virginia Hospital Center for the past couple of weeks. He passed away from complications from gall bladder surgery.

The Democrat has been serving Pennsylvanias 12th district in Washington, D.C. since 1974.
